This isn't a disaster just yet but it could be! I just made fondant for the very first time and I am a bit worried. First of all, I was 7ml short on the glycerin. I don't kow how much of a difference that will make. Because it was my first time, I didn't really know what I was doing. I used less than 4lbs of sugar but more 3lbs, however, I don't know if it was enough. I just wrapped it and put it in an airtight container and I'm hoping for the best.

How do you know when you have kneaded it enough and added enough sugar? TIA

June

When adding the powdered sugar, you have enough when it is no longer sticky, but still a bit soft and pliable.

The glycerine should not be too much of a problem.
