I forgot all about it yesterday, it has been a year since I joined Cake Central. How is that possible? The time flew by and I have learned so much in what seems such a short time. I have made some very nice sugar friends and have spent hours reading interesting posts and viewing beautifully decorated cake creations, and answering PMs. What is my one favorite thing that I have learned from members here? The rose nail in place of the baking core, love that!

Thanks guys. Well those first couple of thousand posts were probably made when I was playing the games in the forum section. Finally have broken my habit of doing that, too time consuming and besides I miss Janice, she always gave me a run for my money.

congratulations shirley, i have been here a bit over a year and a half and have learnt so much in that time and met some wonderful people including you.

if it weren't for you i dont think i would have had the nerve to try gumpaste flowers, i now know that if i ever have a request for particular flowers, and have no idea how to make them that you are the person to call on. always so willing to help and share you knowledge...
