I've just dipped some pretzels and cookies in chocolate (well- like 2 hours ago) and they're still not set. Do I have to pop them in the freezer to set? Or can I just wait longer?

Do you know if you used regular chocolate or the dipping chocolate (buttons). Regular chocolate has to go through something called a tempering process after it has been melted to get them to set back up.

i know that some chocolates have more oils in them. when i make fudge i can't use the cheap brand from aldis or even the store brand it won't set. also is it humid there, humidity can mess with candy making. sounds nuts but if its raining i can't make homemade caramels or peanut brittle it won't turn out.

Pop it in the freezer... couldn't hurt.

I used White baking chocolate bars last night for cake balls and the remaining left in the bowl stayed melted for a good deal of time maybe 5 hours but when I got up this morning it was hard lol. Thanks for leaving it out hubby lol.
