I have an order for tran cookies for November and I am not sure how much to charge. I have never used the flooding teqnigue (i will practice) before so i dont know how time consuming and difficult it is. She wants 2 or 3 dozen. Also she asked me about cake balls. How much do you charge for those? Thanks, Amanda

For the cookies, depending on the size, I would charge at least 2.00 ea. and for the cake balls, I charge $15.00 for a dozen. Others may say different. I would calculate just how much your supplies are (don't forget, the packaging too) And don't forget what your time is worth. icon_biggrin.gif

I have made few orders and charged 2.00 each. One order I included the bag and in the other order no bag, since I did my math and is too little money for all the work, time, etc involve + bagging them.
I am in Missouri and the dough cost I came up with was $3.15 and the Royal Icing $2.00, Total $5.15 + bag.
Do your math and get a fair price for your work. Around here cookies are sold for 5.45 each in cookie stores.
