Hey gang I know someone can come thru for me! I need to find a cake I could've sworn I saved to my favorites but it's not there!!!!

It was around the time we were discussing the new Paisley pan set from Wilton, I checked those threads and it's not listed there. It's a Round cake made with these pans... yes round... it's a 3 tier cake, half white paisley and half black paisley I've checked the "Other/Mixed Wedding Cakes" album and can't find it I figured that's where it'd be because technically it isn't round.. my next stop is round but I was hoping someone would have it in favorites and could put their hands on it quicker then I could find it lol. I need to show this cake to a client TONIGHT! So any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I never saw one like that . I just saw it done up with the pans stacked one on the other.

It sounds like you are describing a "Yin and Yang" cake ~ and there are a few there. Good luck!

That's the main problem I'm having, they creator didn't list any details about the cake and it has made it basically unsearchable. I've tried black and white, white and black, yang, paisley, searching the mixed wedding cakes, round wedding cakes, everything I can think of...

Now I'm searching my forum posts because I remember posting in the thread it was shown in...

Thanks Martha, sadly that's not it that's very VERY close to it though. That's one I already had saved for the "idea" but the one I'm searching for was made with the paisley shaped pans... comma pans tear drop pans... whatever they are called lol

Okay Becky!! I give up!! I just looked through 183 pages of round cake thumbnails and 37 pages of mixed shape cake thumbnails!! NO CAKE like you said! I am so like a dog with a bone! But my back is killing me and so.... im going to bed! Night let me know when you find it! and if it is one of those categories I will either scream or cry! But now you have got me really curious to see it!!

I had a CC'er helping me look last night we were conversing thru Yahoo Messenger and she was being great too just like you!

I told her I'm beginning to think it was a freakin dream! I swear it was here!

Now let me retell the details I remember incase I confussed anyone last night...

It's made with the paisley pan set, but Not wiltons, it was done BEFORE wilton released their pan set. The left half is done in White butter cream, the right half done in Black butter cream. It's more then one tier, possibly 3-4. It MAY have had flowers on it as well... but I don't remember. The two colored halves were pushed together to form a circle/ying yang design.

I swear it was posted as a link in a thread about the new paisley pans, and I REMEMBER posting in it that I'd like to do a cake like that for my own wedding for numerous reasons not just because my husband is black and I am white lol but because we both have the ying yang tattoos and a few other reasons... he's my other half... he makes me whole... without him I'm only half and that feels like nothing.... Ok sorry lmao anyway!

I've searched every post with the word paisley in it... there's alot! I've reviewed 57 out of 183 pages of my OWN forum posts. I've viewed the entire Mixed/Other shaped wedding Cakes album, as well as half of the Round Wedding cakes album. I don't know if it was a wedding cake or a birthday cake but I'm assuming it was a wedding cake because it was more then 2 tiers and was very elegantly done.

I honestly can't remember who made it, but I do know she/he didn't post any details about the cake, nor did they post key words because it's totally unsearchable . There were comments on it, and I believe I may have commented on the photo but I'm not 100% sure on that part. There were TONS of comments and ALOT of people saved it to favs....

Maybe she/he deleted it off CC.... I dunno but I'm hoping if she/he did deleted it they see this and can contact me to share it with me

Thanks again for all your hard, dedicated work! I appreciate every second you sat up here with me searching with me and hurting your back too lol. My back and ankles were killing me when I finally went to bed lol.

Well I am still hoping that you find it!! Don't bother searching the rest of the round cakes!

BTW- it wasn't all bad! I got to see some amazing cakes that I hadn't seen before!! I even added a bunch to my favorites!! Sounds like an interesting cake!
