hat kind of form do most of you use for customers to sign when you deliver the cake What information needs to be on it. Does someone mind sharing a sample.

I would suggest going to your publisher or word program and doing one up that includes the following things

  • Name
    Date
    Party ("The Smith's Wedding" etc)
    Time
    Condition Received
    Signiture

That way you have their name, the date in which it was delivered, the place it was delivered, the time of delievery, thier views on the condition in which it was delievered/received and thier signiture.

That way if anything goes wrong after you leave the cake at the party/reception/wedding etc you get called and cursed for something being wrong you can show them a copy of the delivery receipt that says it was delievered in proper condition. Also I'd take pictures upon set up even if it's a small party cake that way if something does happen you can't be blamed for it. icon_smile.gif
