I am very confused as to how this would be made.
Any suggestions, thoughts or step by steps would be greatly appreciated. I do think that it is kind of neat the set up of it but I am not too sure about the rest. Just really curious to know how this would be done.

The cake is done in pieces. And I'm sure the board that it is layed on is a special make.
Did you find it on cc? You could email them and ask.

The main thing is having a structural base, like Duff Goldman does.Then you can keep adding the pieces of cake , joining them with Bc.The rest, well I believe you can imagine how to finish it.

Just my two cents.

i'm guessing that the board is a round cardboard that is cut in a spiral(2" wide???) ... maybe 12" or 14" round? same with the cake.... I'm guessing though....

I would cut the cardboard round, then a cake of similar size, trim it to manageable sections to put onto cakeboard. Then I think the top 2 tiers are real cake tiers.
