I rolled out my black Satin Ice on my glass table covered with powered sugar and my Satin Ice kept sticking to the table. Tried twice, should I use corn starch instead. Cake due tomorrow. Thanks soooo much.

I haven't used Satin Ice...but when rolling out MMF, I use shortening on my glass table instead of powdered sugar. It prevents it from sticking.

I use crisco. Granted, I use MMF - never tried Satin Ice before....but the powdered sugar and cornstarch tend to dry out fondant.

I use Crisco to knead the fondant for a few minutes and then I use corn starch when I roll it out. I have found that it does stick once and a while. Maybe a combo of both?
