What Is Light Karo Syrup?????

Hi I'm wanting to make some piping gel....But as I'm from New Zealand Karo syrup would have a different name icon_cry.gif can anyone out there help me?????

Karo is a brand name for Clear corn syrup. You might find it with the pancake syrups.

Hi, Karo is the brand and it is just regular corn syrup, and there is 2 different kinds, the dark (like molasses) and the light, which is a light yellow clear color. HTH!

Corn syrup is great for thinning out your icing for detail work, it makes it flow nice and smooth.
