So I just read the post by lisap about her bridal show and the other cake decorator that tried to turn her in. My question to you is this....

I do not have a licensed number. Where do you get this number. I rent space from a local coffee shop, which is inspected by my state. Do I just use their number or do I have to have my own number? If I need my own number do I have to have the Dept. of Agriculture inspect the kitchen for me also? Was hoping you guys could help me with this since I have a bridal show coming up and I do not want lisap's situation to happen to me, without me being prepared.

Thank you for any information.
Thea

Yes, you probably need your own license. You can contact the same inspector who issued the original license about getting an inspection for yourself. Keep a copy of that license with you when ever you deliver or display your product. That way, you are safe from those rats who might try to 'get' you.

Thank you for the information. I thought that I was good just working in an inspected kitchen.
