Using Milk In The Durable Cake Recipe?

Has anyone used whole milk in place of the water in the Durable Cake for 3D & Wedding Cakes (from this site) ? Just wondering what it does to the finished cake... Does it change the flavor any? Or make it more dense?

Yes, I have replaced the water called for in the recipe with milk. It does not change the texture enough to notice, but it does seem to make the flavor a little richer!
