Okay... probably a dumb question...
However, did you bring a cake with you to class 1 of course 2???

I am assuming yes.... but in the "what to bring list" the one thing it doesn't say is cake! lol

Since my class is a good drive away and it will be a hot one today... I don't want to bring an iced cake there that I won't be working on.

THANKS! icon_smile.gif

Check with your instructor, but I only had to bring one cake to class the last night. The rest of the time was with the practice board and making flowers. My guess is no.

I did not bring a cake to class the first night. They should let you know in advance it you need to bring a cake so you can prepare.

Thanks.... I'll hold off then.. since it's not on the list... I guess i just figured we would make a cake each night like course 1. I didn't think to ask the instructor the last class since it was a few weeks ago and of course the store people didn't know.

Boy.. the guys at DH's work are going to be bummed tomorrow!!! haha

I didn't have to bring a cake until the last class. You make all the flowers from Royal Icing, and then at the last class you decorate the cake with all the flowers you made. I used to bring my cake into work with me during the day. that way it wouldn't melt in the car. Although, trying to keep the co-workers from digging in can be very much of a challange. Good luck with your 2nd class.

Yeah, when I took course II, it was all flowers, mostly royal icing ones. We just had to bring a cake to the last class and put all the royal flowers we had made on it.
