Making Roses From Fondant Or Buttercream

I have never done the roses with fondant. Is it easier to make them with buttercream or with fondant. And which one comes out looking better.

I like buttercream better. I have never made Fondant ones though. Good Luck.

I like them both. They have different looks and different purposes. Play with them both and find which one you like better.

I must say that buttercream roses are easier to make. But the fondant and gum paste ones are very realistic more so than buttercream. I am currently learning how to make the fondant roses.
