Non Toxic Markers

i know they have food writers at the craft store but there aren't alto of colors, what are your thoughts about using non toxic markers instead? I know people use chalks in there cake decorating and they are marked non toxic.

your thoughts?

mmmmmmmmm.........I don't think I'd try it.........if you're desperate you could paint on with the gel colors thinned with some extract or alcohol. Otherwise......check out the americolor food pens on this site or kopykakes food pens......there are definitely as many colors as regular markers available in the food markers.
