I'm a up and coming confectionist but I am not legal yet. I do bake cakes for sale (birthday and special occations only) but i don't have business cards as of yet..I truly don't want to get in any trouble or have my business card get into the wrong hands. I read somewhere here in CC that you can have a business cards but it is more like a contact card if so please respond.

If it is not legal to sell from home in your area, any card that leads the inspectors to you would be considered advertising. There is also the risk of competitors or unhappy customers turning you in. It is a risk you have to evaluate for yourself.

However, many decorators take the risk of having cards with their name and contact information, no cake info, on the card.
