Can someone please tell me what is the best recipe for chocolate cake using the extender. Do I add chocolate pudding , cocoa powder or just make as the recipe states? Thanks.

This is what I do when using a DH chocolate cake mix: I sift the mix and then add the sifted 4 oz. box of chocolate pudding. I make it according to the box except I use milk instead of water and add 1 extra egg.


some people use sour cream, which I heard tastes good, but I don't know what they replace with it.

just saw on another thread that there is a cake mix extender recipe here on CC. It got good reviews so I'm planning on trying it this weekend.
