icon_eek.gif Please help! I bought a Pampered Chef cookie press and I can't figure the stupid thing out! I have tried the "Spritz Cookie" recipe that is recommended, but my dough just makes a mess and won't adhere to the baking stone. icon_cry.gif

Has anyone used a PC cookie press that could give me some pointers? I paid almost $30 for it and I sure would like to get some use out of it!

TIA!!! icon_biggrin.gif

I had problems with my dough not sticking to the sheet when it (the dough) was too cold. Don't know if that's your problem or not though icon_smile.gif
HTH.

Thanks for your input. I didn't chill the dough...but maybe I'll let it sit out a little while before I try again. (Could it be too cold from just the ingredients?)

Also, I have a spritz cookie recipe that is MUCH better than the one that comes with the press. Plus its easier to work with. If you'd like it I'd be happy to post it or PM you with it.

try putting down some parchment paper......sometimes with the really shiny cookie sheets they won't stick (in my experience) but with parchment paper......the dough sticks right to it and when they're baked they slide right off. I have a Pampered Chef cookie press and I love it..I've even used it to extrude ropes of MMF.
