Hi everyone! Help! I have this diamond engagement ring cookie cutter and was just wondering if any of you had ever worked with it. I'm at a loss as to how to decorate it...I want it to be real pretty, not plain...it's for a paying cutomer. I did a search here on CC and couldn't find any pictures. Any info. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have seen that cookie cutter, too..........haven't bought it yet but plan to.

Anyway, I was thinking about painted the metal part of the ring with either gold or silver luster dust. As for the jewel part, I was thinking about using the 'stain glass' method where you cut out a small section of the cookie and fill it with broken hard candy, then bake. The candy will melt and hopefully look like a jewel.

I believe that there is a picture of one in the 2007 Wilton Yearbook. The ring is in a golden yellow icing and the diamond was white with outline and details done in a very pale gray--added after the original icing dries some. Hope this helps?

I've seen them decorated the top in white the ring part in a yellow or gray and then gold/silver luster dust on the ring part and pearl luster on the diamond! It looked really pretty!!
