Such an odd situation...follow me...
A friend of ours orders a cake for her sister's babyshower due tomorrow. She ordered enough cake for almost 50 people tho she is expecting only 18 because she loves cake, our cakes and wanted leftovers. No big deal. Today, that same friend's husband talks to DH and orders a cake for her bday due on Monday. Um ok but Dh tells him that he knows there will be leftovers after tomorrow, is he sure. He says he's sure. Tonight we get a call from someone at the friend's work and THEY want a cake for her birthday on Monday. Um, ok but she already has cake etc..they still want it. Whatever, easy enough.
The vague part? The cakes for Monday...both cakes. They tell us "just make it cute" 
What is cute for an adult woman? NO IDEA. The first one I was thinking polka dots because I know she likes them. But now TWO cute cakes???
Any ideas? What is cute???
What about balloons and streamers? All could be done out of buttercream, although you could either airbrush them or make the balloons with a chocolate candy mold. Just use multiple bright colors and it will look very festive. 
Too funny, they'll have cake coming out of their ears. Sounds like what ever you decided to do will be cute enough. They just want cake...give'em cake.
LOL Katwoman. I dropped off the first one this morning and she kept saying "its so huge, I'm going to have so much cake" I was thinking, yeah if you only knew!
I still dont know what we are going to do. I dont think he's ever done balloons on a cake before, good idea!
