I have been reading such good things about rolled buttercream and am going to attempt to cover my cookies with it rather than royal icing. Forgive me if this question has been asked but can the cookies be frozen after the rolled buttercream is put on the cookies? Also, will the cookies dry like royal icing so that I can stack them?

Thanks in advance!

I do freeze them, but you have to be careful when you defrost them because the rolled buttercream can get wet and soft again. It does not get hard like royal icing, but if you set it out for a day, it does firm up enough to package.
