Ladies...
I just finish my first real big cookie bouquet order and was wondering if you guys can tell me if you would pay $50 for this cookie bouquet. She had requested 14 cookies in shape of cupcakes w/ bright colors w/ black outlines. I actually made 20 cookies instead as a bonus to her.
Honest opinions and critiques welcome =).
hmm... I can't get the picture to attach so it 's the first one in my album.
TIA!
Saw your cookies, they are perfect I think they are very well worth $50 dollars especially if customer is getting a bonus nothing better than a freebie! Love your cookies!
Well worth it!!!! I can not wait until I can do cookies that beautiful. i saw your pictures and they are all lovely. I had my first try out today and I did lobster and fish for a lobster and fish lunch with my family tomorrow. Not satisfied with them, but I need to keep practicing.
Don't be afraid to charge what things are worth. I've spent many years with this same problem and have finally come to terms with it. This is a beautiful cookie bouquet that someone would have paid alot more for at Cookie Bouquet. You did a beautiful job. Well worth the money and then some!
at $50 she is getting a deal! You put a lot of time and effort into these (not to mention supplies) and it shows!
The cookies are beutiful! I think cookies are harder & alot more work than cake. Those are very nice & well worth $50, nice job.
Because of the fact that this bouquet was custom made just for her, it is certainly worth $50. I was wondering how much it cost to make it? I would imagine that if you add up the cost of all the pieces $50 is a deal.
....OK. Now I was just looking through your photos and with your talent (very jealous here) you should not hesitate to charging $50. It is most certainly a deal.
Did you charge her $ 50.00 for 14 cookies ? Just so she knows she is getting a bonus with her order, and not being charged for something she did not order.... They are BEAUTIFUL, and well worth it IMO....
Thank you all so much for your kind words. I am always afraid to charge people for my products. I'm just scare they would think I'm crazy for charging so much but I want to be able to make it where I can get a little something for dirty all the dishes and etc for their order. You know, just make it worth it.
Yes, I did charge her $50 for 14 cookies and then threw in the other ones for her she was so sweet.
I hope she loved it ??? I did!! I dont think people understand how much work cookies are... And that they are not those hard crunchy things they buy in walmart.. LOL !! Great job !!! I wish someone would buy me a cookie bouquet like that !!!
I really love your bouquet. I really love getting different ideas for the cookies. That is one I will save. I would pay $50.00 for it.
Ditto everyone else. It looks great, and you should have charged at least $50, probably more. Don't be afraid to charge what your time and talent are worth! (like I'm one to talk--- I have the hardest time with that, too!!) Great job!
i don't know cookies that well, but i would say yes, it works out to what, about $4.00 per cookie, starbucks charges you like, 2.00 for a package of their little dry non decorated shortbread cookies (yes, my kids have gotten me to buy them before and they don't even eat them)
Cookies are definitely alot more work but I think they are fun too. You bouquet is awesome. I love the cookies. They are totally worth $50.
Thanks again... I just wanted to add that the customer loved the bouquet. Said that I do beautiful work and told me that she has 3 kids and will come to me for there birthdays now... hopefully she will... =) I'm so happy and relieve that she loved it.
Those cookies are too cute! You did a great job on them and I love the colors in them......well worth the 50 bucks and more...
