Cupcake Filling.......... Making A Cupcake Cake.

I'm making a cupcake cake and wonder what's a good filling for the cupcakes. I've seen posts on this but not sure how to locate them now that I need them. I don't have to fill them but thought a bit of creamy filling might be nice.
Do you normally fill your cupcakes? I love the idea of it , unless there is a big 'ol heapen mound of frosting on top. I say raspberry filling gets my vote with butter cream frosting.
I just made a bunch over the weekend and filled for my first try with the Twinkie filling found on this site. I substituted the vanilla with Irish Cream....Yum!!!! I did this as I'd made my cc with Irish Cream coffee creamer flavouring. When I iced the cc, I also substituted the vanilla with Irish Cream. The flavouring was very subtle throughout, but delicious. HTH.
Happy baking!
I don't frequently fill mine, although I took an order last week for a peanutbutter version of Blackbottom Cupcakes.
I just recently did carrot cupcakes and filled them with apricot filling.... were they good!!!
