Never done one before, but have a customer who is possibly interested. She wants it to contain 30 cupcakes (1/2 vanilla/1/2 chocolate) and have simple decoration (basically girly pink frosting, border, inscription, a few drop flowers, sprinkles and a bit of sparkly glitter). I quoted her $45 - is that too much, too little - I have no idea?! I basically went on my decorated cupcake price of 30 x $1.50. Any help (so I know next time), is appreciated!

I think it sounds reasonable...........definitely worth more than a plain iced cupcake which I think is definitely worth 1 dollar each!!

I agree there is a place I know of in Calgary (Alberta, CANADA) that makes the best cupcakes in all the land, but they are still quite plain looking, no fancy flowers or anything...They charge 2.50$ each. I thought it was outrageous even after I ate one. 2.50$ for a cupcake might not sound so bad as a snack...but a dozen costs 30$. YIKES!! I think that 1.50$ for a decorated cupcake is more than reasonable, you may even get away with 2$ each.
Oh yeah that cupcake place in Calgary has a web site that's kind of neat if anyone is interested...
