I use Sharon's (Sugarshack) bc icing, I will be ordering my WB flavoring tomorrow (YEA!!). I can't wait to try it.

I have use the Butavan, I got mine from sugarcraft months ago before they said what they did about those of us here on CC. We LOVE the Butavan in my white and yellow cake mixes, with my French Vanilla Blend & Butter Flavoring Icing.... but I did try it in some bc icing on a white cake (without Butavan in the cake mix) I don't think I use enough in my icing, so I will have to try another batch with more of the Butavan in it and go from there....as far as the taste of it in my icing. I wonder if Earlene's Butavan is the same or diffrent as that sold at sugarcraft? Does anyone know?

God Bless,
Sharon

Is it possible to be addicted to something you've never had!?! That's how I'm feeling reading this thread. I plan to order soon but can anyone tell me if it is all natural or are these artificial flavors? Thanks!

Just received my WB today and it does smell wonderful! I have used Butavan for many years and have used Creme Bouquet for the last several months. In comparison, I would say the WB is a lot like Creme Bouquet except instead of being a Lemon-Vanilla like Creme Bouquet is the WB is more a Lemon-Almond. It is heavy on the almond. Butavan is much different than CB or WB IMO.
Tomorrow I'll be making a batch of buttercream using the WB and will post our opinion at that time. It smells wonderful so I can not imagine the bc not being wonderful! icon_smile.gif

Marecip, the WB is both natural and artificial flavors.

Sharon, I am positive Sugarcrafts Butavan is the same as Earlenes. I have used them both and have little to no doubt Sugarcraft simply repackages under their name.

I just tried the Wedding Bouquet for the first time in my first batch of High Humidity Buttercream by vmncc1. It is excellent. I love the flavor and no I can't describe it. I used 2 teaspoons. I put it in the bottom of the 1/2 measure cup before I put the milk in. I added 1/2 teaspoon of butter flavor too. I love that recipe for buttercream. icon_smile.gif
WARNING.......don't taste it all alone out of the bottle. It has to be in something. BELIEVE ME.....don't test taste it.

Today I made a double batch of buttercream and used the Wedding Bouquet for flavoring and I love it so much that it will officially replace the Creme Bouquet I have been using for the last few months. I also baked two cakes, WASC, and used the WB in both of them and they are excellent! The smell is heavenly and would entice anyone to eat a piece of it! icon_smile.gif
One cake will be delivered tomorrow and the other on Saturday and I will let you know any feedback I receive.

Thanks Sharon, for sharing Sandra and her Wedding Bouquet flavoring with us! And Sandra, if you are reading this, YOU ARE A JEWEL TO WORK WITH and thank you for such a wonderful product! I am definitely a customer from here on out! icon_smile.gif

Sandeeb and GI,
Thanks for liking the cake. I had heard about edible photos so I contacted my two grocery stores to see if they made them to sell and they did. P & C was $10 and Price Chopper did them for $7. You just give them the photo and they run it through a machine and it comes out on edible rice paper. You put your buttercream down and place the image on before it crusts over.
It was for the rehearsal dinner Friday night and everyone loved it. The wedding was yesterday. My oldest son got married. It was a great wedding. If they would have waited a year so I could get more practice, I could have done there wedding cake. icon_smile.gif
Yes, my son REALLY found his woman and you can see it in his eyes everyday.
Here is a photo of them NOW married. icon_smile.gif

YAHOOOOO!!!!!, I got my WB flavoring yesterday! Ohhh my goodness this stuff smells sooo GREAT!!! I catch myself taking the lid off just to smell it icon_lol.gif

icon_cry.gif but it will be a little while before I get to try it out, cause I just made some icing the other day and I still have some of it left over. I agree something that smells this great has to taste great.

When I get to try it out, I will post about how we feel about the taste.

Sharon

OK... thought I'd report back as I received my bottle of flavoring last week and used it to make my best pal's bday cake on saturday.

All I can say is WOW. I don't know what's in this stuff and why it tastes so good but it really is the best tasting flavoring I've ever had! I made it with a typical buttercream recipe (1 c butter, 3/4 c high-ration shortening, 2 pounds powdered sugar, 1 cap of flavoring, approx 1/3 c strong, reconstituted coffeemate creamer) and it was the best icing I've had. Used it on a strawberry cake recipe - YUMMY!

I purchased the smaller container (even thugh it cost me about the same for shipping as the product itself) as I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. Well, as soon as this gets close to running out I'm ordering the big jug!

Im sitting here at work reading posts from CC and I saw the post for the Wedding Bouquet so I decided to get some. The woman from B&B was so lovely- we even shared stories about living in the woods and not having mail men. I cant wait to get this flavoring. It sounds wonderful and Thanks to all the posters for their descriptions and praises on this flavoring.
