I was in a high end specialty retail shop in another town and saw several CK Product items. I was not familiar with these and was wondering if anyone is. They had powdered fondant - I wasn't sure what this was, and numerous other items. I could not look much - my dear sweet husband was with me icon_mad.gificon_lol.gificon_cry.gif (mixed emotions there) soooo I had to hurry. It was only about 45 minutes from my hometown. Should I pay more attention next time?? They did have some Americolor - I bought some black, navy blue, and chocolate brown. I thought I had read that their dark colors were better. No red.

I have used a few CK products and had good experiences with them, Tylose powder, pan grease, piping gel. The powdered fondant sounds to me as though it is a base for candy centers, dipped chocolates.

thanks Shirley! When you are new, and the only local outlet for supplies is Michaels, it is a very sheltered world!!

Our local cake supply store carries a lot of CK products as well. They carry Magic Line pans, Wilton specialty pans, AmeiColor... so only top brands.

HTH.

thanks all, I will definitely check out that display again. Are you buying over the internet? I guess I will google CK. Thank you again!

I love their products; especially the gum paste and royal icing thumbs_up.gif

I purchase their products from the cake supply store that I shop at.

Does CK stand for something? Or is that just the name? I have never heard of it.
