FYI! Anyone looking to get a Kitchenaid mixer should check out Lowe's mid-week ad. They normally sell this model for like $380. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I checked several sites to make sure this was real! It's by special order so I went to the store (had about 4 clerks to help me and they ended up overriding the price to match the ad) and ordered mine! I already have a hand me down one but at that price I couldn't resist! HTH if anyone is interested.

OMG! I meant to do the first post yesterday. I found the ad on Wed and went to order that night. I just remembered to put it on CC today. I checked the online ad and it says "Page not available" Sorry!

I saw the same ad here in NC! So I went tonight and ordered mine (it will be my first KA, yea!). I asked the salesman why it was selling at that price, he said it was a printing error in the ad and not to tell anybody because they had to honor the ad. I went to lowes website as soon as I noticed it a couple of days ago and it said something like "page not available", now the KA Artisan is completely off their site.

I'm so glad you haven't told anyone!!! I had to go look for the add and found it in Thursdays paper. I checked the KA site and they sell them for $350! Guess I'll check out Lowes tomarrow!! Thanks for the info!!

OMG! Thank you so much SweetieD. I went to Lowes yesterday and ordered my first KA Artisan for $160 with tax!!! I had to go through 4 different people and 2 of them were managers but I got it. You are all correct, the ad has been deleted from their website, but the ad is still laying around in the stores, just go to customer service. At my store, they had hundreds of them laying around. The ad is also good until the 26th or something like that so try to find one. Be patient, you are going to have to wait for them to figure out how to ring it up because the ad does not have a item number next to it. But if they cannot figure out how to order it without the item number, ask if you can have one in the store for the $150 price. I asked the managers and they said they had to honor it. I think they only have onyx and cinnamon in the store listed for $245 on cleareance, but they have to give it to you for $150. GOOD LUCK! Thanks again SweetieD!

I got mine from Lowes a couple months ago, when they had a sale like there here in my area. I was looking everyone, and would have never has thought to find my kitchenaide at Lowes!

I pulled out our flyer and it also has the 5 qt. for $150. Thought about buying one and reselling it, but noticed that you can get the same thing on ebay for about the same price, sealed and with warranties, so I won't venture in that direction. I would think that they would have to honor the sales flyer. Good luck though if you need one.

Normally in the sale flyers it says in small fine print "We are not responsible and do NOT have to legally honor any typographical errors in this flyer" even the grocery store ads say they are not responsible for typo errors lol....

Visit any Lowe's store and you'll find the flyers as soon as you walk in the door. Or pick up a copy of the news paper and see if you can find a flyer in there. But I must admit, if I worked at Lowe's and knew I'd have to honor that sale price I'd see to it all the flyers in the store were lost lmao

I just got back from Lowe's. The customer service manager said he had to contact the vendor to get the number, but he would get back in touch with me. I found one in the store, but he said it wasn't the same one. He reassured me that I would get one for that price. I am about to call him back to see what we are going to do about it. I thought the one in the store was the same one in the flyer. The information on the box matched the information in the flyer. Well, we'll see!!!

Ralph just called me from Lowe's, and I have placed my order for a white Kitchenaid mixer. It should be here on the 30th. It cost me $161.00 with tax. Looking forward to getting my new mixer.

i don't have a Lowe's close to me but my daughter lives in Cape Coral and she just bought 2 one for her in copper and one for me in black for $150.00. She talked to the manager and asked why she had to special order it if it was the same thing they had on their shelved and she walked out with both of them. I'm so excited, i will see her next weekend. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! Two for the price of one.

boy they sure dont have any deals on the mixers online. we dont have a lowes near us.. its about 2-3 hours away for one of those.

I just got mine this afternoon. The manager wasn't happy but had to honor it. I guess its my lucky day..they had two on the shelf white or chrome. The manager says I can let you have a red one for this price. I know he would have had to give me the chrome if I made a fuss but I wanted the red. I just didn't see the other display. LOL

So, I am back from Lowe's!!! Went to the checkout with my 5 quart KA and it rang up for $299, even though the sign said $249 clearance. The cashier proceeded to bring 3 other people over to check the price (of the ad). They were not rude, but just could not believe it. They read the fine lines of the ad and sent me back to the kitchen dept. to special order. Then they were in disbelief and had to get a manager to override something or other. So, after an hour there just for the mixer, I got my special order. Should be here in less than 2 weeks!! The lady helping me even could not believe the price. She said, along with every other cashier I encountered during this process, "wow! I need to order one!" I think they will sell very quickly at the rate word is spreading!!!

Thanks so much SweetieD! I have been looking for the right price for a while now!!!! Off to make a zebra cake for a pig roast! I know, wrong animal but I don't think a pig cake would be cute! BTW, the hostess is my photographer friend. Hope I can impress her to recommend me!!

I just got back from Lowes with my brand new Red KA Artisian!! We went back to the appliance dept. and showed the ad to the customer service rep. and asked him if we could go ahead and just get one of the red ones that they had in stock for $249 (on clearance) for the advertised $150. I wanted the red one anyway! He called up front and got it OK'd. I don't think anyone had even asked about the mixers yet. Everyone had to read the sales flyer twice. Once we got up front...had a little more shopping to do..the ones working up there didn't know anything about it. We had to explain everything again and let them know that it had been approved by so and so. ( My hubby works there part time too so he knows everyone!) Long story, short...I got one for $150!

Oh how I wish I lived near a lowes! COngratulations to anyone that got that great deal! SO how many of you are going to sell them (keep me in mind!)
