I'm new to this site and this is the first place that I have ever heard of MMF. I was very excited to try it because I don't like the taste of the Wilton fondant. Well... I just made some and I made a very sticky mess. icon_confused.gif I ready the directions on this site and here is what I did. I greased the bowls with crisco, melted the marshmellows with the water in the microwave, sifted half of the powdered sugar into KA mixing bowl, and made a well in the middle. I then poured the marshmellows into the powdered sugar and turned on the mixer. After about 30 sec. the mixture was stuck to the paddle and there was powdered sugar left at the bottom of the mixing bowl. I tried using a spatula coated with crisco to scrap down the bowl but that didn't seem to work. I added a little more powdered sugar hoping the volume would work it down. That didn't work. I ended up coating my hands with crisco and kneading in the remainder of the powdered sugar. It looks okay, I now have it wrapped in saran wrap to cool, but I'm wondering is it like this for everyone else. My mixing bowl is now covered with a sticky mess of powdered sugar and marshmellows and soaking in the sink. Any suggestions or tips when making this is greatly appreciated. icon_sad.gif I am still going to try what I have made on some cookies for practice, but I would like not to have such a messy situation when I make it the next time. Thanks! Ang

Cover your hands with corn starch and dig in--continue to add and need until it becomes manageable.
