I have the round 2" round set. I need a teired wedding cake that will feed 75-100 people. Will a 12", 10",6" look right? Also do I need to make two of each size for height? Thanks
12/10/6 serves 83 I fill one pan and half in the other you torte the one then the other is a single layer.
I always make 2 of each size, and then torte them both, so you essentially have 4 layers for each tier. Earlenes website in TX has a great serving chart that works really well with several different shaped pans.
www.earlenescakes.com serving chart is close to the bottom on the right.
