Has anyone ever made the bowling pin pan (from Wilton) and had it stand up? I tried it this weekend and it broke halfway up (where it gets skinny) and I was going to stick that back together later. Then, I came back later and it had split where it was "glued" together and was leaning. I think my husband moved it while it was drying, but still...I used a CMD recipe. It was chocolate with sour cream in it. Was it too moist to stand up? Would you recommend a pound cake for this pan? How do I "glue" it if buttercream isn't going to work? It was for my husband and he saw it before it fell apart and ate it anyway so nothing was lost except a cake that I wanted to photograph for my album...oh well!

I took a picture just so I could laugh at myself when I cooled down icon_smile.gif

I think there is a special way you have to dowel this...with dowels at angles so they hold everything together.
