How To Attach Fondant Drape To Edge Of Cake Board?

We are using a Wilton foil-wrapped cake "drum" and the bride would like to have fondant swags attached around the edge. The cake itself is not fondant, but the board could be fondant covered if need be. What is the best way to get these suckers to hold on?
Do you mean draping from one board to the next? Gum adhesive is good for a strong hold with fondant. You put a pea size amount of gumpaste into 1-2 T water and let it sit. It will dissolve into a liquid that you brush on to where you want the fondant to adhere.
No, just attached to the edge of the board. The board will be resting on a pedestal cake plate.
i would use royal icing. it should stick nicely to the foil board and your fondant. its the best glue ive ever used on cake stuff
This may be a silly question but do you mean the fixodent that you use on false teeth? And can it be eaten?

by "gum adhesive" she means making your own gumpaste glue by dissolving a bit of gumpaste in some warm water.
