I wish I had the time to right now! I've been wanting to read it for some time, but I have a 6 month old who won't let me do much of anything (along with a 7 y/o and 3 y/o!). Hope you find a buddy to read with, though! I've heard nothing but good comes from reading that book.

I think that most of us are driven to the purpose of baking and decorating cakes! Janice

I read this book about a year and a half ago, it really did put things in perspective! I need to revisit it though, sometimes my brain gets a little wieghed down with things of the world and the important stuff gets gradually sqeezed out!

I felt that the first half of the book was great but the second half layed on a "guilt trip" to be a missionary!

Good book over all.

To all of you wonderful ladies who have replied: Thanks a bunch for your support!! I just finished creating a private msn group so that we can discuss it together. You've all been recruited as study buddies! icon_smile.gif I am so excited about this! Get out your books, dust them off if need be, and lets get started! PM me with your email address and I'll send you an invitation to join the group. It's called Private Bible Study for CC, so you can recognize the email. (Hope this isn't breaking any rules posting this here. If it is, please just let me know so I don't do it again.)

My mom bought the book for all of us kids. I've read the first few chapters but I haven't gone any further. It's not a good excuse but I've been too busy to devote the time needed for it. I hope to continue soon. It was really good what I've read so far.

The Purpose Driven Life is very hard to read alone. You do need a study group! Good idea momsandraven! I wish I had time to study it w/ ya'll. I have the book but never really got into alone. Have a great study!!
