I use this method all the time and think it is a brilliant technique! Who ever came up with this idea has saved me tons of time and tons of sticky messes! icon_lol.gif

Since I'm new to this, this sounds like a great tip. Certainly will make clean up a lot easier too. Any advise on using the icing tip. My icing doesn't spread as easily as my instructor showed me so it looks a bit messy. Thanks.

We used this method where I used to work, though our method was a little different. We rolled all the icing we would need for the next day the night before. It sure saved time. I don't know why anyone would do it differently, it makes clean up much easier. I even use it when I use the large 789 tip when I ice my cakes.
