Great Tip From My Instructor!

Thanks for posting this tip, it really does work!
This past weekend I made a Princess Carriage cake for my granddaughter and I used 5 different colors of icing on it. I made an insert or plug for each color and when it came to cleanup time, it was so easy. The only bag washing I needed to do was around the point where when removing the coupler, some icing got smeared inside the bag.
Great Tip ~ Now I can have the different colored icing all rolled out in advance and just do a quick "switcharoo". It'll be so much more efficient and clean!
I love it!
Thank you for posting this. It's really helpful. I'm definitely gonna do that from now on. It translates to less mess, and you can easily wash and reuse the decorating bags, which means saving some bucks... GREAT!
thank you for the tip. i really hate filling the bags. i make a big mess. now can this method be used with royal icing as well?
Can't wait to try this method. Will work wonders for more than one color.
I just love this site. So many great ideas!
This new tip I will be using. the mess I make from piping is gone, gone, gone Thanks to you and your instructor.
Thanks for the tip I love it I go ahead and set up several so I can keep going , when you run out just drop in a new "bag" works great.
I just had some problems using two colors on a boarder, The colors kept wanting to mush together
I can't wait to try this..Thank You
Life just got a little easier!! Thanks for sharing. I can hardly wait to try this. I might have to bake a cake just to try this out!

Did this on my last cake... thanks so much for the tip.
Even my DH thought it was a great idea.
Wow this will just change my world lol. Something so simple and it will make a HUGE difference! Thanks for sharing-I can't wait to use it.
What a great tip. especially if you want to add a couple different colors, its messy trying to get them in the bag side by side. Thanks
A friend (and fellow CC'er) showed me this tip recently. Great idea. I had never thought of using it for a striping effect, but am looking forward to trying it.
Pictures always make it easier to understand. Thanks for the post.
This sounds like a great tip to use the plastic wrap sleeve! What do you do when you want another color but the same tip? Just change them out?
