Wow!! What a great idea. I am going to have to try this. It will be wonderful for the kids too, they cant make a mess. I always have to tie a rubberband around thieir bags so it dont squeeze out the top, that happens to me sometimes too. It looks like real easy clean-up and I am all for that!! Thanks for sharing and adding the pics, you made it very easy to understand. Happy Decorating!!!

Wow.. I am surprised at how many people have never heard of this. I have been doing it this way for years.. We called them "bullets"; twist and wrap each end, then just cut off the end when ready to use. I particularly like using them with whipped cream. You know how it breaks down with heat from your hand.. keep the bullets in the fridge, and reload your bag as needed, and they are nice and cold. Also, for buttercream, keep a bullet made up of each color you are using for your tote bag to travel with for on site set ups, and repairs.

WOW, probably one of the simplest but BEST tips I have picked up from this site. I always manged to get half of the frosting on my hands instead of in the bag. I can't wait to try this w/ two differen colors!

Wow thanks for such a great tip and thanks for clearing up the question I had about the coupler/wrap issue. I have a cake due this weekend with lots of colors - This will be soooo cool to do.
