Anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for a construction/bob-the buileresque sort of cake for a 1st birthday. Its months away but im being nagged to design it immediately by my sister...If you have pics of your suggestions that would be great, I am having trouble trying to keep it very child-like with my theme

Oh Bob the Builder is so cute and small children adore him (also so cute ), I made one for the 2 year old son of my best friend, he was at first completely silent and then for the rest of the day he was only saying the word Bob the Builder, Bob de Builder Yeah made me really happy too.

You probably have already found one in the gallerie, maybe for extra detail you could add some stones to the sides, I did that by the way

I did a Tonka truck for my son (a big Bob the Builder fan) last year, and he absolutely loved it. It was my first carved cake, but it wasn't too difficult. (Looking at your cakes, I'm sure you would do a much better job than me!)

Anyway, I have seen hardhats, tool belts, etc. ~ anything like this would be very "builderish".

Here's one I made about a bazillion years ago. The vehicles and signs are made of royal colorflow.
