Is it ok to use parchment instead of wax for the frozen buttercream transfer? I don't have any wax paper on hand and figure why buy it if parchment will get the job done.

I haven't tired it but I have heard it works just fine. Some prefer it to wax paper for things anyway.

Thanks, I have substituted parchment for wax several times for other things, but wasn't sure.

I prefer using parchment paper.
