I showed him my portfolio last week and he said "You made those"?! He new that I do this cuz I bring in "cake parts". Anyway, he's never really seen photos before, his daughters birthday is coming up in September and he wants a cake. (He owns a Trim/Doors & millwork company) which he offers employees cost if we want to purchase anything. What kind of pricing do I offer, should I offer a discount?

Thanks for your help.

From one Linda to another, if you think your prices are fair, just tell him what it costs. He can offer a discount because he buys at wholesale and sells at retail. You, on the other hand, are just you! He is offering discounts on items he purchases, he puts no labor into them. You do.
