Hi. I am trying to think of a chocolate cookie that is good enough to be on my Christmas cookie trays that I give away each year. I have done the chocolate crinkle cookies (with the powdered sugar on top) for the last few years and I'm a little bored with them. Can anyone share a really tasty chocolate cookie recipe with me?

Thanks!!!

I'm soooo glad I'm not the only one thinking about my christmas cookie trays! icon_smile.gif

Last year I made faux thin mint cookies. Melt up some chocolate and add Lorann Peppermint flavor oil (start with a few drops and taste). Dip Ritz crackers in the melted chocolate and cool on frozen cookie sheets covered with wax paper. Stick in the freezer for a few minutes to harden. Everyone seemed to love them. Not my recipe, I think I got it off allrecipes.com.

Another favorite has been coconut mud bars. From Mrs. Field's cookbook (it's in both the cookie book and the I Love Chocolate book). I can send you the recipe if you want, just let me know.

I'lll look through my "Christmas Cookie" file when I get home and post if I find anything else.
