Hi Everyone,
I have a question. I am going to a Pampered Chef party on Sunday and was wondering if there is anything that any of you have from The Pampered Chef that you use to make your cookies and cakes that you really love and/or can't live without. I went on the website and I saw a baking mat and other stuff.
Thanks for your help,
Elvira

I like the measure all cup for measuring crisco and peanutbutter. I hate measuring messy stuff and this product makes it a snap. I also love their baking stones for my cookies. They come out perfect everytime.

I have two mini metal spatulas. They're like a regular pancake spatula, but shrunk down. They're perfect for getting cookies off the pans because they have a great sharp edge and they're just so darn cute too!

I also have their pizza stone which I love.

I like the measure all cup also. The stoneware works really good. The cookie press is awesome. And the rubber spatulas are really nice.

I love the stone bake ware. The cookie sheets always make perfect cookies. I also love the coookie press, I know its cheating, but it is a fast and easy way to make cookies for christmas and special occasions. Their cooling racks are great too. They make a long one that stacks which are perfect for 9 X13 cakes and rounds.

I have 3 things that I use the most in the kitchen. Not always for cookies, but I use these items EVERY day!

1) Measure all cup (I actually want a second one)
http://www.pamperedchef.com/our_products/catalog/product.jsp?productId=210&categoryCode=KW
2) Prep Bowl Set (6-1 cup glass bowls with lids, these are full ALL The time, for snacks, prep work, small serving dishes for toppings, etc... LOVE them and want a couple more sets-grandma has these also and bought a second set after a week of using the first set)
http://www.pamperedchef.com/our_products/catalog/product.jsp?productId=9792&categoryCode=KW
3) All sizes of their scrapers (They are good to a high heat, they don't stain - i have left mine in spagetti sauce on accident and withen a couple of washes was back to white-they're up to 4 different sizes now)
http://www.pamperedchef.com/our_products/catalog/product.jsp?productId=190&categoryCode=KW

Ok there is a 4th, the cooking racks... the choice to stack is great! expecially in my small kitchen. I can fit a 12"x18" cake on one to cool also!

Ok so I really like my pampered chef here are a few other items that I enjoy having.
-Batterbowls
-Cookie scoops (large one is perfect size for cupcakes/muffins)
-Stoneware (for two people I use the medium bar pan and the large round the most-for family and of the large size ones)

Ok i forgot the items I actually use the most is the Digital Thermometer. It is a timer and attachement for temperatures. This I have had to replace and when I didnt' have one I missed it terribly-it is perfect for all the baking/cooking I do, goes from meats to hard candy. Love it!
http://www.pamperedchef.com/our_products/catalog/product.jsp?productId=611&categoryCode=KW

Ok I think I probably just doubled your wish list, and made myself want to have another party so i can get more PC stuff.... Hmm wonder how my savings account is looking! LOL

Metal spatulas - cookie removal.
White (now colored) spatulas for eveything.
Batter bowl - for everything.
Mini whisk - egg, puddings.....
Measuring spoons - only need 2!
I know there is more ......I have everything...or so my rep tells me...

My favorites have been:

The Mix and Scraper - it is awesome at getting all of the batter out of the bowl when you're pouring into the pan.

The Scoops - (I don't remember the official name) - they are great at getting all your cupcakes even and dividing the batter among the cupcakes.

I just got the checkerboard cake pan. It baked the cakes well, but my checkerboard wasn't really square. The different colors came out more like trapezoids.

The small set of 6 bowls someone mentioned above are great too. I use those to mix all my icing colors and then cover them until I'm ready for it.

My sister has used the large glass mixing bowl (the one with the handle and the lid) to make a Barbie cake for my niece. She really loves that!

I love pampered chef!!!

Tool Turn about.. I have one for my kitchen and one to keep my fondant tools in...

Cookie Scoops.. medium one is perfect for muffins/cupcakes, Scrapers, Batter Bowls, Round Stone ( used for everything), Stacking cooling racks, Measure all cups...

I used to have a ton of stuff when I was a consultant but I pared down to the basics....

Howdy all -
I wouldn't dare decorate a cupcake without the Pampered Chef's Easy Accent Decorator - its large star tip makes for a grocery-store perfect swirl of frosting on top of cupcakes!

they have a soap dispenser that you add just a tiny bit of liquid soap in add water, and then the soap pumps out all foamy!

I also like the mini spatula

the scraper is awesome

I got three little brown square things that you use to scrape junk off anything. A cookie sheet, a pan, the floor, whatever they are really good and the pack of three was only like $1. Sorry I cannot think of the name.

The great thing about a pampered chef party is you can go and buy some stuff that isn't to much$$$$. Doesn't mean you will, but it is possible to order a couple of things and not spend a ton.

I was so excited when I read this! I sell Pampered Chef and I love hearing when people love it too! icon_biggrin.gif

Oh yeah, and just so you guys know... the digital thermometer that someone mentioned... well it's being discontinued as of the end of this month. The new catalog comes out next month and there's even more incredible stuff coming out!

Have fun at the show, you will have to post what you ended up getting.

IMHO... the measure all cup is my savior! I can't imagine not having it when making frosting. Oh and the scrapers and spoonulas (mix and scraper).

Thanks for your imput. I have a big long list that I am hiding from dh! I know I will not be able to buy everything but the most definite thing I will buy is the Measure All Cup. That sounds like a lifesaver.
I have a some questions about the baking stones. I have never used them. What do they do? Do the cookies come out better than on a regular cookie sheet? What's the difference?
Thanks,
Elvira

eromero-I soo know what you mean with the big long list! it just never gets shorter either.

As for the baking stones, I am one that doesn't like my cookies on them-but i have friends/family that swear by the stone for cookies. However i love the stones for everything else. I guess i just have my way of cookies and they always turn out so i'm sticking to it (not saying you won't like it though)

But I use my stones for all other cooking, and I started making my bacon in the oven on my medium bar pan at the suggestion of my PC rep and I LOVE IT. it doesn't splatter and the fat helps to season my stone, and it is SOO easy to clean, and put in the oven and I don't have to do anything else with the bacon.

The difference I notice with the stones when cooking is they cook more evenly and they get items nice and brown but not crispy.... Croissants on them is a favorite in our house.

Elvira-

I used to sell Pampered Chef and still have a kitchen FULL! I can't live without:

Stones-ALWAYS bake cookies on the stones. My cookies are always better baked on them and they are good for any other kind of baking too!

Small and Large Spreader-don't decorate a cake without them! I always use them for spreading and smoothing buttercream.

Nonstick cooling racks-they are big enough to turn out an 11x15 cake without any fear of breaking-LOVE them! The cake NEVER sticks!

EVERY size scraper!!-these have been mentioned before and are a must in every home! They are so heat resistant, you can leave them in a pan of stir-fry and they don't melt! They don't stain, and they are awesome!

Large Spatula-I love this for my cookies and for the grill-just look out though-if you use it enough on your stones, it gets pretty sharp on the end. I keep mine in a drawer after I stabbed myself a few times while it was in my Tool Turnabout.

Cookie Scoops-not only are they good for cookie dough and soft ice cream, but they are great for perfectly sized cupcakes, muffins, etc.

If you can afford it, the cookware is incredible! I've had my set(s) for 6 or 7 years now and only have one piece that shows wear. I use them EVERY day and the one piece was the limited warranty, not the lifetime.

Have fun with this! I hope you have LOTS of people who order so you get plenty of good stuff!!

PS The double strength vanilla, the Korinje cinnamon, and the cinnamon spice blend are must haves in my house too!

Hi Everyone,
Well, I went to my Pampered Chef party. It was great! I had lots of fun and I even took a small batch of cookies with business cards. I made the pampered chef logo (the chef's hat). Everyone loved them. Anyway, I ordered a stone, the sandwich cutter for my kids, the pump, and the mix and scrape. I figured I'd start off slow. Eventually I plan to continue buying and fill my kitche with all of the wonderful stuff. Next time I want to buy the chopper and one of the cookbooks (the one with the recipes for the stones) and God knows what else. Everything is so good!
Thanks for your input,
Elvira

I'm glad you had a good time. I love Pampered Chef stuff. You'll love the food chopper! It was great when my kids were babies and started on table food! I don't know how old your kids are, but it was very helpful in getting the table food bite size quickly.
