Hi, I'm new to this site and was wondering if any of you have taken Wilton's Course III, and if you have photos of your cakes from that class, if you could post them. I'm considering taking the course in January from my local Michael's store, but would like to have an idea of what I'm getting myself into before committing. Thanks!

Yes I have! I learned how to make a poinsetta and lillies and the tiered cake is not hard I will post my cake to this web site. It has pink royal icing roses instead of the fondant ones. My teacher said it was ok to do that for the end project. Since the tiered cake is what you are really learning to do on the last day.

Yes,I have taken all three courses as well!! It was great learning how to make all the different types of Flowers and surprisingly the course 3 cake was pretty simple to make and construct.Sorry...no picture though,I didn't have a digital camera at the time.

Hi,

I have taken all three classes. Course three is fun and the flowers are really easy to make! I will post a picture of my course three cake. The instructor said that we could make any cake if we preferred not to make the course three graduation cake. I found my design in a 1987 Wilton yearbook.

I improvised and used upside-down hearts that we made early on in the class. The original called for bought decorations.

This link should take you there.
