I was wanting to make some cookies that have a stained glass design using piping gel. The last time I used piping gel on a cookie, the gel never dried and I was not able to stack my cookies or place them in individual bags....the gel was too sticky.

Does piping get get hard/dry? Is there something I can do to make this happen?

I've never heard of using piping gel, I've seen stained glass using life saver....I know that works.

luvcake,

i just crushed up hard candies and sprinkled them in the cutouts before baking and they melted and filled out the cutout. i made them last year and most of the kids loved them but some adults did not cause of the candy being hard.
