Food Network Wedding Cake Classic

I noticed when browsing upcoming shows that the Food Network will be showing what they call a Challenge: Wedding Cake Classic. It sounds like a competition held in Tulsa. I do not know if this was a part of the big Tulsa competition but it could be interesting.

It is on Sunday, June 12 at 10:00 Eastern/9:00 Central.

Sorry, can't help with your questions but just had to make a comment on the show!

Hi jscakes! Those wedding cakes were stunning on the wedding classic cakes on Foodnet Work. The gumpaste/sugar paste flowers are so pretty and the designs on these cakes were breath taken. I started taping the first show and plan on taping the rest of the shows. I wish that these shows were close by since I understand that they are opened to the public.

Isn't that show a re-run? I've been busy all weekend so I didn't get to see it. If it's a re-run then it's the one w/ my Wilton teacher on it as a judge. She was the one in the pink or red dress. Was she on there? She's an older woman w/ gray hair in a bun w/ glasses. Let me know jscakes if she was on there ok! Thanks!

Hi TC, not sure if it's a re-run because they are using wall paper as their themes where the last one I saw they used tea sets. I'm going to go watch the rest of it now to see what the judges did look like, one of them was young...trying to think of the older one with gray hair and glasses or not...be back in 20 minutes or so! (it's 11:28 p.m Sunday eve. here!)

Well darn! I haven't been watching much tv lately. I usually have FoodTV on all day just incase something I haven't seen comes on. I hate that I missed it!! Does anyone know when they are going to show it again?

I saw it last night. I told hubby that I had missed it, and he looked on the programming and it came on again last night at 11 p.m. PST, so of course, I had to stay up and watch it. Those cakes were amazing. I wish I had half of the talent of those decorators. If you missed it, you really need to watch it..you will be inspired.
