I now know for a fact that Luster Dust liquified with vodka will definitely destroy your buttercream piping/icing! I tried it...it seems to "eat" the bc icing, it starts to crumble, and this was even after the piping was completely crusted. Janice

i know u can use it on a swiss buttercream.. iv done it before.... however since the icing does not crust.. it has to be put in the refrigerator to harden up.. but it works
