oh that was a neat idea asking this question.
I think I have Calvin dancing up there right now, I forgot lol. I change mine once in a while. I am a huge calvin and hobbes fan, and well i love dancing lol. I had my niece up there with a clown wig up there. I forgot what else I've put up there lol. I sort of change on a whim when I'm inspired by something new (which isnt often I guessl ol)

Socake...I paint too!!! do you find that it helps your creative juices with your cakes?!

Mine is a cupcake...where I work my coworkers HATE HATE HATE to make cupcakes..they think they are tedious...so I decorate them and love the little things, because they are discriminated against..lolicon_smile.gif such a humanitarian! lol

Mine is me at a bridal show, I agree with emma that seeing the face of who you are talking to makes communication much better, but being a cake forum its fare to be recognized by your cakes so I didn't know between face or cake, and my avatar has both
please don't change your avatars, I don't read the names sometimes I know a person just for the avatar

Mine is a picture of my seven year old son with a cake he decorated. I was all set up to do it but he was constantly at my elbow peppering me with questions. He'd already stacked and rearranged my tips numerous times when it finally dawned on me that he wanted to help. So, I handed him the bag, gave a little instruction and let him loose! He changed tips several times and made a huge mess but you can tell from the picture that he had a ball! My kids are my biggest fans no matter what new thing I'm doing so a picture of him seemed appropriate. icon_smile.gif

I wanted to put a picture of my daughters as my avatar but after several attempts to make it less than 6 km, I gave up. I got it down to a dot and couldnt see it anymore at 7.35 km!!
Just a question, how do you guys get pictures of celebs, etc as your avatar to fit?

Mine is the first cake I made (Wilton Course 1), really a close up of the flowers on top of the cake. I was so obsessed about getting the daisies right! I liked it a lot. I made what seemed to me like a gazillion flowers and then picked the better ones.

I've been a big Calvin and Hobbes fan since they first appeared in newspapers--and this picture just seemed so happy and cheery! (The way I feel when I'm playing in the kitchen--well, and there's no disasters, of course!)

I think mine is pretty obvious. I hate it when people change too. I memorize people by the pics... I'm terrible with names... I even forgot my husband's name the night we met. I waited all night for someone who knew him to come up and talk to him so I could hear them say his name.

I'm using this avatar because I've never been able to get one of my own photos to work when I resize them. I picked this one for the cowboy hat, since I'm a Texan.

But at least you've got that awesome British accent going for you! I get completely mesmerized by it....a good friend of mine was from Liverpool and I tried so hard to imitate it! She would just laugh at my pathetic attempt! icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm wondering myself, I tried for days to get one of my own pictures, but could never get it to fit the 6km requirement. I'd love a cute animated one. I guess I'll have to hire a computer wiz to get it for me. How do you all do this?

Mine is a picture of my most priced possession, my lil boy Ziggy!! He's my lil furball of joy! How much do I love him? 1) I love him so much I had to get him on a 30-hour plane ride from the Philippines to states because I just couldn't leave him and 2) every time my DH scolds him to get out of the bed, I'd be scolding my DH and say he should sleep outside the room icon_lol.gif

My avatar is a picture of a Daylily from my flower garden. It's the only avatar I've ever had (besides, of course, the one you automatically get when signing up on CC).

It's also the background on my computer.

You used to be cute duck lady, and now you are magic bunny lady, and next time you make another cake you like I'll loose you again.
Avatars are important to make other recognize you, so if people like what you say they can always find you, I very rarely read the names.
Please stay magic bunny lady icon_smile.gif
