I currently live in Bremerton Washington, but in the last 3 years I have lived in Flint Michigan my hometown, next San Diego CA, then onto Gainesville GA back home to MI or a couple months and then onto Bremerton
I live in Flint Michigan too! I was born and raised here. I did move to a neighboring town for a couple years with my hubby but, we are back here in the neighborhood I grew up in LOL We have 2 daughters (3 and 5) a dog and some fish 
I do home daycare too!
Well, I just can't let this thread go by without representing Almost Heaven West Virginia! I have been married for 5 wonderful years (in July). We have a 3 year old son (also in July).
I can't help but notice all of you military families...THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! I have all the respect in the world for you.

My DH is from Albany, NY. He's a Damn Yankee cause he stayed in the South! 
His nieces & nephew's call me Aunt Daisy Mae (from Lil' Abner comics) because of my accent! 
They love hearing me talk. It's very embarrsing at times! 
I'm a very fast talker, most La people are. I try not to say ya'll much but it just comes out. My DH family says "you-uns" & "youts" all the time. I also have them saying "hey" & "Ya'll" now!! After 19 years of marriage they were bound to pick something up from me!! My DH lost his NY accent a long time ago!! 
My cousins in California say I have an accent. I'm like no I don't, I'm not from Louisiana or something. (no offense Tina just kidding 
) I listened to myself and compared to the west coasters, I have an east coast accent. I had so many people say when I was in Cali, "I love your accent"

I'm from East Central IA here. Lived in the area most of my life (moved to Southern IA for a few years with Boyfriend for his college) I have lived within a 1/2 hrs driving distance of the Quad Cities on the IA/IL border, roughly 2 1/2 hrs from Des Moines and Chicago. Love it here, Family is here and don't see moving away from the area. But boy do I love to travel!!! No marriage or kids here, but BF and I have been together 5 yrs last march.
Hey Joe, if you want a real southern accent come to La & I'll teach it to you! I love the East Coast accent so much!!
I didn't have this accent till I moved here in 1992. I used to pick on all my cousins & now I'm talking just like them! I have a lot of accents rolled into one big crazy one!! Lived in VA for 4 years (Langley AFB, Hampton, VA) & loved the accents there! My kids started talking while we were there. They started school in La. The school in my hometown wanted them to go to speech therapy! I said NO way!! They were so confused w/ the VA accent, my DH NY accent & my accent from all over that the teachers thought they had speech problems!! I told them to give them a month that that was all it was. Well I was right! Now they are talking just like the other kids! Poor dears!!!
Oh, my kids are 18 boy (you all basically know my son from all the stories I've told about him 
)& 15 daughter who is beautiful, smart & very sweet. Been married going on 19 years. Married young! Had kids young! Hopefully I won't be too old to have fun when the DH retires!!

A back/ neck injury was what got me into cake decorating too that & a friend!! I got hurt on the job last May. No surgery thank God! I tried going back to work & wound up messing my back up even more. I finally quit my job in last Aug. I laid around in horrible pain till the end of Sept when my dear friend/Sis tcrema came to visit from England. She had been doing cakes for about 2 years. She talked me into taking classes. Funny thing is... My back/neck kills me but I still feel so relaxed while I'm decorating!! I'm hooked now!!! I worked as on a AF base in the BX. I worked in the Garden Center killing myself everyday picking up dirt, rocks, lawnmowers & other heavy stuff! Was I crazy or what?
Now I'm a cake decorator, Volunter Fireman (lady). & in July a school bus driver! Hope to get more cake orders out of the school bus thing!!
Ohhhh I forgot Joe... Being from Louisiana... you have to talk a lot too!!!!!

I am back in my hometown, Canada's capital city, Ottawa, after 23 years away. Lived in Sudbury, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie Ontario - it borders with Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, and Toronto, well Ajax, to be exact.

Hi everyone, I live in east texas. Chandler to be exact. Not much here, we only have one traffic light. Was born in Abilene my dad was in the AF we moved to Cali when i was only 1 month old when i was 11 we moved back to texas been here ever since.
Married for 3 yrs on june 1st. We have 3 sons 2 are his from a previous relationship and the baby is ours. 8,7, and 2.

Currently I'm in FL....Gainesville Gator country to be exact. Gotta love my gators. I'm moving to Fredricksburg, VA in a month, it's a growing city outside of Washington DC.. Grew up in Miami, FL, born in Santo Dominigo, Dominican Republic, and grandchild of two holocaust survivors. Lot of culture and good cooking in my family. I bake for my boyfriend mostly, we've been together for one year now, we met on my birthday, beat birthday present ever! I also bake and cook for my friends, we all go to UF and I'm the only one with a kitchen. Even though it's only a space of 6'x6' including counter space and appliances, and my stove is a pea green flashback from the 60's. Whatever works!!

Fredericksburg is where I go to shop!! LOTS of traffic up there. When you move to Fredericksburg, check out a great little cake supply store called Simply Sweet!
I live in Fredericksburg too! I like a lot of things about this area, but the traffic is terrible! At least there's no shortage of things to do in this area. We're only planning on being here another year, and then we're moving out West, where there's more SPACE! (and family)

I am from San Angelo, TX now but originally from Denver City, TX (CO2 capital of the world. I am waiting to hear the damage from living there for 18 years).
I have been married 6 1/2 years and have 3 boys: 5, 2 1/2, and 8 months. I am a medical transcriptionist, but my cake decorating is taking over. I work more on cakes than my career!!

another "non-American" member: I´m from Hamburg in Germany and I really love to read this site, as I doesn´t know anyone here in the north who does cake decorating. So altough the most of you are really faraway, it´s feeling like beeing part of something big
catbird i also work outside the home my first job is at our business ...we sell and install floorings and then i work at my second job which is at a video store 2 doors down from ours.. so life here is very busy too but i do squeeze making cakes in my spare time

I currently live in Knob Noster, Missouri . My husband is in the Air Force. We are an hours drive from Kansas City. My husband is in the officer comissioning program so we will be picking up moving in a year in a half.
Maryland born and raised! I haven't seen one other person in Maryland on here! I guess I'll have to travel to VA if I want to meet anyone from the site. Married going on 11 years with one son that just turned 9. He loves to help me decorate. Full time job. Cake decorating is my all consuming hobby.
