Making a baseball cake - anyone has instructions on how to make the baseball cap out of fondant I've been seeing in photos. I think it starts with the ball pan. Making it this week, please help. I know I can count on this site to help me. Thanks

You could trace the bill of the cap onto a piece of paper then cut your fondant to that size. The cap part would be one piece and the bill another. Just grab a baseball cap and use it as your muse. I saw a demo where the stitching part on the cap was done with a sewing traceing tool. I don't know it the use those anymore but they are inexpensive and it makes the cap look lit there are little stitches on it. Put something under the bill to make it stand up until it dries.
Surely there are some cap cakes in the gallery.... icon_cool.gif
