I just started to roll out my MMF and it is cracking as I roll. Is not smooth at all. Is it to dry? How can I fix this so I don't have to scrap it ?

First thing I would try...take your fondant and rub a little bit of crisco on it, place it in the microwave. Nuke it at 5 second intervals until it becomes pliable again...be careful of hotspots in the middle, sometimes the outside is cool and inside is HOT!(can cause severe burns) Then crisco your hands and work in the crisco. The combination of nuking/crisco has helped my MMF become workable again(CC tip!). Hopefully that works for you, if not, let us know. GL, Jen

I've also wrapped the fondant in damp paper towel and put in the microwave for a few seconds at a time.

Here's what I do. Generously rub crisco all over your hands, then start kneading. The mmf will absorb the crisco. If the consistency is still dry, do it again until it is smooth and elastic. Just doing a little at a time like that keeps you from getting too much crisco in your mmf. Warming it up will help it get more pliable, but I've found that it won't help with dried out fondant. Once you get the mff to the consistency you need, then you can switch to cornstarch (or whatever method you use to roll out your fondant). Good luck!
