i would just like to know how much money to charge for a cake, i have just posted my daughters first birthday cake and have had a few people ask what i would charge to make this style of cake. i have no idea what a reasonable price would be.

any suggestions would be appreciated

Wow! It's a great cake! I could definitely see that being sold for a minimum of $40. Determine by the cake sizes, filling (if used), fondant, other decorations and your time. It looks like a lot of work so maybe even $50.

I would say 60 or 70. Awesome cake.

Your daughters cake is beautiful and I LOVE her name!!!!! I would charge $65.00-$70.00 here..

Amazing cake! In the metro NYC/NJ area where I live (Hoboken) I could easily ask $100-$125 for that cake and most moms wouldn't even blink an eye.

What a pretty cake. I'm afraid I don't know much about pricing. I would guess in my area a cake like that would sell for $75 to $100.
I normally only bake for family and friends and end up donating the cake. This week a co-worker asked me to make a cake for her son's birthday (last cake I posted). I charged her $30 (with cake board, box, etc. it cost me around $15 to make it. I'm not sure if what I charged is in line for not, but she ended up giving me $35!
