I made this addorable cake last friday. It looked like a bowling lane and then had a bowling ball and the pins on top of it. I came back in to work this morning and found out that the sides of the cake fell off and that it cracked. The owner of the shop had to give it away. She told me the customer was upset first of all that it wasn't sitting in a cooler. Then she saw the cracks and refused to take it. I don't know what I did wrong. icon_cry.gif

I don't know what you did wrong either. But we all have made mistakes in baking /decorating. Tomorrow is another baking day, greet it with a smile. Happy baking icon_smile.gif

You said you made it Friday? icon_confused.gif

And then you came in today to check on it?

I'm confused...

Rimes,
Did you freeze the cake after icing? Or did you put icing on a frozen cake? These are the only times this happened to me.
