I am making some mints for a baby shower out of candy melts. The shower is August 19, however I want to make these a little ahead of time. Any of you who have experience with this- do I keep these refrigerated? I'm guessing that you do. I would love some info on this.

TIA

You can make them and keep them in a cool place. If you put them in the fridge they will sweat and get pits.

I have made the cream cheese mints a week in advance and had no problem with them. I did not refrigerate them, just kept them in a box in a cool, dry spot.

thanks! I have a lot of stuff to make for this shower and it will help tremendously to be able to have them done and out of the way.

Thanks again!

Mmmmm...cream cheese mints. I remember making those with my mom when I was little. They were for an anniversary party and we molded them into little pink roses. I can taste them now. I ate way too many back then. Good luck, I'm sure they will be beautiful.
